The Philadelphia Dentist
Lee Schriftman, DDS

Dr. Ryan Eckley

Hello! Thank you for choosing The Philadelphia Dentist. Allow me to introduce myself. I grew up in the Harrisburg/Hershey area and went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh as an undergraduate student, where my passion for dentistry began. Later, I had the honor of attending and graduating from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, the world’s first dental school! I then completed a general practice residency at Carilion Clinic, a hospital in Roanoke, Virginia, where I received further advanced training from their amazing faculty in all of the dental specialties. I continue to attend many hours of additional training to deliver the most comfortable, high-quality dental care that my patients deserve.

In my spare time, I am a “Phanatic” when it comes to Philly sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles. Aside from watching their games, I enjoy cooking, reading, exercising, movies, and spending time with my girlfriend, Melissa. The Philadelphia area is amazing, and I would love to hear suggestions on great places to eat or talk about how the Phils or Birds are doing. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me, and I look forward to meeting you.

Everybody at the office made me feel so comfortable!

I thought it was impossible to ever say I had a pleasant experience at the dentist BUT it actually happened! Dr Schriftman, Victoria, Ashley and everybody at the office made me feel so comfortable! They listened, were super kind and made sure that the whole experience was painless! I just had a wisdom tooth pulled out and I can honestly say that it was seamless and pain free!
I also have to mention the very convenient office hours that allowed me to go on the weekend and not waste a sick day!
Now I have to go back for stitches removal but I would go back regardless!
